Exhaust tail pipes

I just put in some turndown tips on my flowmasters before the rear axle. so no more tail pipes all the way back. The sound is louder in the car but thats ok, my question is anyone who has done this before have you experienced any vibration after doing so; and did you lose any low end torqe? The exhaust system is
1 5/8 shorty headers, 2 1/2 h-pipe no cats, 2 chamber flows with the turndowns directly on the muffler facing down. thanks for any input.

I ran the exact same setup previously and had a very slight vibration and noticed miminal low end torque loss. Sounds really mean too! ~Brian

As a general rule, any time you lessen the back pressure in an exhaust system, you loose low end torque and gain high end horse power, so a little back pressure is good for most stock engines. When you cut the pipes off, all of the bends and the friction on the wall of the pipe causes backpressure, you just lost all the backpressure behind the muffler so yeah, you can expect a small loss in low end torque. It's all good, take it to the track and see how it runs, your car may do better with more low end, depends on the setup.
