need help w/ torque converters!!!
I need some help concerning torque converters. I have a vague idea of how they work, but could use it broken down stupid style. I'm thinking of getting one for my 94gt and could use any help available. A list of mods is below. Thanks in advance.
94GT w/70mm throttle body, K&N filter (air box removed), underdrive pulleys, equal length headers, bassani x-pipe, flowmaster 3 chambers, 3:55 gears, shift kit on an otherwise stock transmission. |
A good all around converter for street use is the PI Stallion lockup with the 0 pump (2800) stall. This converter is worth about .4-.5 et. and very streetable. I have the #6 pump and I would call it streetable but my car is not streetable with the exhaust and C4.

Ditto. PI is definitely the way to go. Those Stallion converters cost quite a bit but I'd say they're worth it. A 2800 stall would do wonders for your e.t.'s.

Thanks for the advice, I'll probably go with the PI Stallion, where would be the best place to get one, ie http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/tongue.gifrice, warranty, etc.?
