Subframe Connectors
 

I decided to go with subframe connectors. Which is the best, weld-in or Bolt in? What would a recommendable brand?

Welded and bolted =)

I think most sub-frames come with bolts, or can be welded in.

I'm going with Maximum Motorsports full lengths (the way to go). I should have them next week to give you an opinion of them if you're still looking. These guys are supposed to make some of the best suspension stuff.

Weld and bolt ey? That's a thought. It's going through a T5 swap right now, so it'll a be a little while before the subframe project. Def let me know what how you like them.

Weld-in is definately the way to go. Bolts tend to come loose or all of the force of the frame causes them to stretch the holes and come loose that way. As Far as brand, it really doesn't matter as long as they are sturdy, Maximum Motorsports tend to be pricey(your paying for their name). I have Steeda Weld In Sub-frame Connectors, their priced fare and top quality.

One more vote for weld in. I have a conv. and the best mod I will have ever done is subframes. Bought mine from Thunderbolt Motorsports in Miami. Steeda 4130's w/ crossbrace for $100 (he auctions them off from Ebay).

In fact I think he's registered on here under Gator_Bill.

My friend just got some welded in, most performance shops here in tx custom cut their own, probaly the best way, or just as good as any top brands, but my friends 85 coupe got the custom subs welded, and i fell in love with them, his car felt tighter, rode smoother, responded better, got better traction....ect...get em welded, his car felt like it was "darting" out from under us, no flexing, just left straight.
