Valve Clearances

I'm going to have a setup that creates a .510 lift on my stock heads. I'm already goin to get new springs cause everyone said I should for this lift. Should I worry about clearance from piston to valve, and if I do how do you figure that out.
Thanks

Not unless your heads are milled. .510 should be fine with 1.6 RR

you say with 1.6 rr's I'm using a .480 lift steeda #19 cam in combo with 1.7 rr's. I was told the total is a .510 lift is that alright.
THanks

Yeah that sounds right. You shouldnt have to worry about piston to valve clearance.

i had a bcam with a lift of .488 and i ran 1.7 roller rockers. which should have put my lift to about .512 and i had no problems. you should be good to go my friend.
