T-body elbow adapter for SN95 question?????
I'm going to install heads/cam/intake soon and I've got a used GT-40 intake so I bought an Edelbrock elbow adapter for an SN95 car. The thing I'm curious about is the EGR valve. The adapter blocks off the small EGR opening under the main (2.75") opening on the GT-40 upper plenum. Does the EGR introduce hot exhaust air right into the main throttle opening on an SN95?

the opening that i think you are talking about is the little oval opening below the large tb opening... that opening goes through manifold down to the lower manifold. you it is blocked off byt he egr elbow. you do not need this cuz the heat riser tube that comes up from header and is intorduced through the elbow..... i had that same problem when i installed mine
