Your correct, it has been a bit slow lately. It's that time of year I guess.

Hear are my winter plans:

S/C rebuild , (Just cause it's a good time of year to do it!)

P.I. Cam install

MSD blaster coil packs : Mostly for looks ( red )

Dress valve covers ( I go to shows most every weekend in spring/summer )

Baseline Dyno run on 12/10/03

Dyno run and tune after S/C is back and cams are in!:D

My goal is a blend of good power and good looks:cool:

91LX2Bfast 12-02-2003 12:51 PM

Ignition: MSD DIS-4
Brakes: PBR dual piston front brake calipers (a'la '99+ Mustangs)
cross drilled and cadium washed rotors all around
and if needed, vaccum canister (I don't think there is enough vaccum with the cams I have)
Trans: 99+ valve body with shift kit to Jerry W. specs

GodStang 12-02-2003 12:51 PM

FR500 exhaust
4.10 gears

I want to hit 12's by summer.

Surfbeast,

If you're changing out cams and have a blower, go with a set of blower cams instead of the PIs to make the most of your setup.

I think Crane cams and maybe Comp cams may have some for your setup.

you could try and www.vtengines.com I have heard nothing but good about there heads and cams

Thanks guys,

Both those ideas are great and I will most likely go that rout in the future. Right now I am looking at spending less than 750 bucks or so. The blower cams are like 5 to 600 and heads are way out there. I should probably just save up and do those things but I have the "mod bug" and can afford to do the minor stuff right now.

Thanks again for the advice

Nothing too daring for me this winter (first winter with my Mustang). But, here are my plans:

1 - Flowmaster Mufflers
2 - Either 3.73 or 4.10's
3 - Intake spacer
4 - Subframe connectors (I have a Conv)
5 - New tires

Like I said, not as exciting as some of the things you guys are working on.
