WHat is a good aluminum polish to remove water spots
I have a set of aluminum vavle covers and I blew off my radiator hose this summer and the water dried instantly leaving white water spots on my covers. What can I use to remove this so they look nice again? Also need to polish my weld wheels. Thanks

Stuff called Extreme, it works better than anything I've ever used, and I've used a lot fo stuff. Little elbow grease on top and there beautiful. Good luck

I'll have to look for that Extreme stuff. Wenol has always worked good for me.

I use mothers aluminum polish. It works great I cant imagine anything working better.

hmmm, mothers didn't work for my weld rims, but then again mine were used and abused, I needed soemthing strong, I have heard Mothers protects and shines NEW stuff very well, but for stained or very dull stuff, it didn't work... NEVER DULL is what the Marine Corps uses, it's pretty good, but Extreme worked the best for me.

I use NevrDull wadding polish for stuff like my intake manifold and the rough kinda metal stuff, not polished Al. I somehow think it would be to tough for polished Al, but I could be wrong.
Let me tell you what I used on my polished aluminum Weld Wheels. It's Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream in a 7 oz. plastic container. My Welds had gotten pretty bad with oxidation and were getting really dull. I put some of this stuff on and I am not exaggerating at ALL, it restored the shine to NEW condition. I was surprised that it worked so well. Definitely worth looking into and a small container of it only costs like $4. |
Wenol gets my vote.

So where can I find extreme? Mine went from this:

Hey guys if you don't mind but, where can I get this "extreme"?
Does Jegs or Summit sell it or should my local parts store stock it? Thanks |

Extreme Polish
The stuff is actually from Canada I was told, but I found some at a Modica Brothers, let me know if yall absolutely cannot find any, I can buy a can for you and you could send me the cost of it. I know it took me forever to find too.

i second that on the zoopseal cause i use it and it is worth every penny. but its not a polish or wax, its a sealer to be used when the surface is spotless clean. other wise to just polish or remove corrosion turtlewax aluminum polish ALL THE WAY! this **** is amazing for small rust/corrosion deposits, try it. also #0000 steel wool is an incredible tool for polishing as well.
