How Much HP
 

We have a fight going on here at work and I need some feedback from people that know what they are talking about.


1. How much HP will a bone stock 89 5.0 put down at the rear wheels

2. How much Hp will an 89 5.0 put down at the wheels with these mods.
(mac equal length headers, mac mufflers, x-pipe,all 2.5in
a edlebrock performer intake with spacer, 65mm BBK TB, steeda #19 cam with .516 lift with 1.72 SVO roller rockers, Crane com valve spings, and a BBK cold air intake.

1. a stock 5.0 shhould put 195-205 RWHP stock.

2. With the mods listaed the car would still have crappy stock heads and be limited to about 240-250 RWHP.

Yep I agree with the above.

Also depends what tranny you're running. An Auto takes more power away from the rear wheels as compared to a 5 spd.

Its more like 185 hp at the wheels. And how much horsepower you guys all think I am putting down to the ground????

I woud think you should be putting about 290-300 to the wheels.
