Belt routing

I just bypassed my air pump on my car and installed a 76" belt which was a real pain to get on I had to pry it on but it worked, I routed it the same way as stock just minus goin around the air pump pulley I was wondering how everyone else routed there belts, I have P/S and A/C.

short belt routing
This works real well.

This is the way I am currently running my belt with the alt. and wp only.
Alternator and Water pump with reversed tensioner I have bookmarked this page from someone else. That is not my car or my website.

Hope this helps.

How you routed it is fine, but don't expect any HP increases from bypassing your smog pump.

I hope you don't have cats. If you do they will get cloged and your car will run like a pig without a working airpump.
