Just use the TFS-R out of the box with no modifications for your engine now. I don't believe they will make as much as the AFR 205 at first but they're won't be any comparing them later when you port the TFS-R heads. The ultimate head would be the Edelbrock Victor SR. but that is a race head right out of the box, which sounds like what you don't want. I am using the TFS heads with mild work on my 420 cubic inch engine and love them!!!! (street car on pump gas):D |
If you want a good set of heads, I have a set of canfield heads I will sell.
I want to go with a set of ported vic sr. heads. If you are interested, email me. I have over 3000 in them and they have not been bolted up the motor yet. Over $1200 in porting by brent frazier.http://forums.mustangworks.com/attac...&postid=281736 |
I did a lot of reserch on the pro toplines, they work well on a chevy, I am yet to see antone run them on a ford.
