Need help ASAP

Ok I am changing out the timing chain cover gasket today. I have it stripped down to just the cover, and the balancer. How can I get this balancer off without air tools? I don't have access to air tools, so it will have to be done by hand. I have tried a couple of times, but all it does is turn the balancer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using a balancer puller?
I believe Andy669 mentioned before and sounds like a great idea is to put the car in gear and pull up on the e-brake. Then try pulling the balancer off with the puller. :D

Disconnect the coil wire so you dont get any spark to the distributor. Put the socket on the balencer bolt and put a breaker bar on the ratchet (make sure it is long enough to reach the ground) rest it so it is on the ground on the drivers side. Now turn the key to turn over the engine and that should break the bolt loose. Just be sure you have disconnected the coil wire. You dont want your engine to fire up. Then you will need the puller to get the balencer itself off. When putting it back on, dont beat it on. Just tighten the bolt and it will pull the balancer back into place.

I've tried putting it in gear to get it off, no luck. So I am heading down to get a bigger breaker bar. I will let you guys know how it goes..
