I just got a new 91 get GT. And was wondering if I switch the box from my old car to this one if it will make a diff.

I went from points to MSD in my 69 and noticed a big difference. I wouldn't think you would notice much of a difference being that you already have a form of electronic ignition. Maybe the dyno would see something but I don't think anything noticeable. Who knows though????

I put a MSD 6AL on my car an ran .3 faster, on my friends g-tech, then I'd ever ran before on it.

I have a 6al also and i think it helps.
The stock ignition works just fine but if you want more efficiency and a bit better spark by all means get one but if you're looking for mods, an ignition system is more like a luxury.enjoy your new stang!! http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif
