MSD HEI for carbd 302
 

Im not understanding the HEI ignition. Does it include the disributor too? Or is it just the box and the coil? When i hear people talking about it they come off like they don't need another distributor but maybe i am misunderstood. Its 229.99 out of summit and that just seems to cheap to me to get the box coil and distrib. Can someone clear me up?

Hey I havent seen that ad but the dist itself goes for like 229. The 6A box is 159 and coil 49 or 59. Wher did you see that ad?

hei is the gm ignition the coil is on top of the distributer if you are trying to convert you will need a new dist which you are right in believing that you dont get that with that set
that set comes with box cap(with top mounted coil) and rotor if i remember right
