for some reason after i put a new cam, tb, pulleys, timing chain, and intake on my cobra for some reason when i hit the clutch in the throttle likes to stickup around 11 or 1200 rpm at about 50 mph...until i slow way down then it will return to idle.... it seems the faster im moving the higher it sticks then slowly comes back down??? ive set the tps... not sure whether it could be timing related or what ...any help guys im stumped????

Not likely timing related. I would check for a vacuum leak.

This is a normal event.

The EEC watches the speed sensor. When speed is above ~ 7.5 MPH it will hold the idle high. This is to maintain engine power for accessories while rolling and to keep engine vacuum high to operate the brakes. When below 7.5 MPH your going slow enough that the safety factor is not needed.

Many engine stall problems at speed like "I push in the clutch and the engine dies at speed" can be traced to not having the VSS plugged in -or- a severely out of calibration VSS due to large gear change (and not changing the speedo gear).
