Brake and engine qustion

Ok, need some info/help. First, does anyone know what year ford started making the 351 W a solid roller? Second. anyone know a good front disc brake setup on a fox stang? I am gonna use it for the strip with a 351. it was a 4 cyl and i swapped the front end this past weekend and tossed the stock rotors. the lug bolts were attached to the rotors. if i get crossed drilled rotors from wilwood, would i just have to buy lug bolts and weld them onto the rotors or should i swap with a newer stang, crown vic, etc?

They never made a solid roller but the lightning blocks '93-'95 were roller block 351's. Best source for a roller 351 is ford racing or convert old 351 yourself.

As for brakes you will probably end up with a two piece rotor hub setup. Maybe start with 94-up spindles and hubs. Then buy a brake kit to fit your needs/rims.

FYI: 4 cyl's & 5.0's have different spindles. 5.0 rotors will not fit 4 cyl spindles.

thanks for the info guys. will the 94-up spindle/hub assy come with the lug bolts? or will i have to get those seperate and just put them into the rotors?

The hub has the studs. The rotors slip over the hub/studs. Commonly refered to as a two piece hub/rotor design.

Also the 94-up hubs are a sealed unit. Drop on spindle and torque to ~ 230 ft-lbf and go. No bearings to pack. :D
