wheel hopping

when ever the clutch is popped in my stang to spin the tires a bit, the whole rear starts hopping. I want to know if a stiffer shock will help this any.

I had a wheel hoping problem on my 86 capri. I dont on my 93 GT. same set up except that my GT has those little additional shocks. I 4get what they're called but they seem to have cured my wheel hopping woes.

quad shocks

i dont think shocks would make any diffrerence. Quad shocks will definately help fix this problem. My 82 did it but once i got the new rear end with quad shocks. Another option is better control arms with stiffer bushings.

Replace them, they're pretty cheap. $16.99 each from Napaonline. Part# RR94107 I believe. Make sure you ask for 2, the guy at the counter thought it was a side-to-side damper and only ordered one.

Good luck,

Rich D.
