Exhaust Question

I have recently started thinking about putting a different exhaust system in my 1995 V6 'stang...But I'm not exactly rolling in cash at the time. So, as a way of getting around costly systems, I was simply thinking of ripping a system out of a GT. Now, not exactly knowing the difference between the two systems (mine and a GT) other than the Y-pipe deal, I was just wondering what kind if any, problems I would run into if I was to take the X-pipe out of the GT and replace my Y-pipe. If any of you can help me out here, that would be great. Thanks!

The h-pipe off a GT will not fit your car. you have to order one or get it custom made. I am selling my MAC off-road h-pipe for $75 plus shipping. It is off a 1994 V6. He has no cats so I do not think it will pass emissions there. Also the Cat back system will bolt right up except you need to hanger bracket that you can get from Ford. They go on the right side of the car. Hope this helps.

Thanks anyways

Although I would love to take you up on that offer, the car still needs to be street legal, and w/o the cats, it wont fly. But thanks for the post. I'll look into finding an h-pipe or an x-pipe that will fit my V6. :)
