How to convert a 4 banger to an 8cyl.

I wanna know what all is involved in converting a 1993 notchback coupe 4cyl. automatic to a 5.0 5spd. From front to back.

A wrecked 5.0 doner car would be nice. from scratch you may want a heavier radiator, 5.0 motor mounts, throttle cable, double sump oil pan, headers and exhaust, double hump cross member, clutch pedal assembly and cable, drive shaft, 8.8 rear end(7.5 will work unless you start using slicks). also what are going to do for a fuel system, injection or carbed?? Ignition system?? Most important you'll need a 5.0..I am sure there are some things that I have missed but this will give you a general idea.

I have done one 84 4 banger to 351W. I used MSD and a holley 4bbl to make it an easy swap..

Get the front coil springs and the fuel pump from the donor car...

The wiring harness from the 5.0 is needed. if u take out the computer and engine harness from the 4cyl, the 5.0 will go right where the old one went. u can go ahead and swap the whole thing (although not needed) but it is a pain in the butt. the left side (drivers side) of the 4cyl will plug directly into the 5.0 computer.
