its a 64 i believe havent gotten a look at the motor. its not a daily driver. its been sitting a while. i think i am goin to get a carb. kit and a gasket kit and i dont kno what else to get

before you do anything i would look at the motor. the 6 cyl was a more common motor for 65. there was only a 64 1/2 and arent many of them so its more likely a 65. then you need to see what has been done to it. alot of people changed the ign syst. to elect. as opposed to the points style. look everything over first. then you would likely want tune up stuff, maybe carb rebuild some gaskets and filters etc.

The 64 1/2 was officially a 65 released early in April 1964. They are all titled as 65's. The most obvious difference between a 64 1/2 and a 65 is the early cars had generators, but switched to alternators later. A 641/2 with a V8 had either a 260 or a 289 HiPo. There are some minor body differences but most have been erased by body damage and replacement parts. The 6 cyl in a 641/2 would probably be a 170 ci.
