Required Emissions Equipment and trannies
 

Working on dropping the 302 into my 80 mustang to replace the tired 3.3 inline 6.
Anyone know what emissions equipment went on a 1980 V8? The six doesnt have a smog pump which suprised me but then again i beleive the max allowable pollutant limits were reduced for 1981 so maybe thats when they showed up. I know the main stuff is the PCV, EGR, cats and evaporative emissions stuff. Ill be quite pleased if I dont need a pump. Also, how can i identify the auto tranny that was in this car, I have heard that the c-4 was used with the inline 6 on occation and this is a ghia so its got most everything on it.
