Timing Advance Advise
 

How far is too far to advance the timing before there's no power gain. It was running really well before I put a set of pulley's on. I currently have the timing set at *14. I've heard people setting it to *18 - *19. I seem to have lost some giddy up.

Please help.

14 degrees is pretty safe most people dont go over 16.

Try backing it down to stock 10 degrees and see if that helps.

Personally I wouldn't go over 16*.
