Questionn about stang weight
 
Hello my friends i just want to know if any one know how much weith is a stang hart top vs a hatchback between 79-92.

I have a 90 notch and it weights 3048 with a full tank on gas. Left front weighted 872 Right front weighted 886
Left rear weighted 670 Right rear weighted 620

My 90 gt weighs about 3250 without me in it. It has no carpet and no back seat and no stereo equipment.

93 lx hatch weighed 3220 with 1/2 tank of gas. a bit lighter nowadays. :D

My 86GT weighed in at 3100lbs without me in it. That is with 1/4 tank of fuel, A/C, Stereo, etc. I've haven't taken any steps to lighten the car.

I wonder why mine weighs so mych even after I took out the carpet, carpet padding, rear seats, plastic molding, and foam insulation under the molding?

Dunno. Where did you have it weighed? Keep in mind that truck scales aren't very accurate at that low a weight, if that's where you had it weighed. You're '90 holds over 100 pounds of gasoline, too. :)

I weighed it at HRP. That weight is probably with no gas, I dont know how much I had, probably between 1/4 and 1/2 tank of gas.
