T56 Cobra/Ls1 shifter
 

My friend has a 98 z28 with a t56, he wanted me to find out if a shifter for an 03-4 cobra will work for his car. He is way to lazy to look for himself and i don't know were else to ask.

He's likes my tri ax and he like the 03 shifter knob. anybody know?

Ya know I know its the same gearbox and all but I'm not too sure if its got the same shifter and threads; honestly I highly doubt it. Im pretty sure by the way they look, it sits in the car differently than the F-Body. So the shifter is more than likely different, but the threads being the same Im not sure.
