Chrome radiator hoses

I have seen cars with the chrome radiator hoses on them. All the sets I have found online are the same shape as the stock ones. I have seen them where the top hose changes. Instead of going over the top of the alternator and down, I have seen them where they make a 90 out of the radiator towards the drivers side and then cut like a 45 into the thermo housing. In other words, it would go in front of the belt tensioner and then over to the thermostat housing. Then you can use a 45 water outlet. I blame all of this on the stupid stock hood.

No one has seen the ones I am talking about? Or knows where to get them?

I know what your talking about and I remember seeing them as well. A lot of centrifical supercharger kits come with them due to the fact that the alternator is relocated for the supercharger, which needs alot of room. I'll try to find some and post back.

Do you mean something like the upper rad. hose in this picture? The pipe came with my blower....I can look through my installation manual and come up with a Paxton part # for you.

Part #

Here is the part # for the chrome radiator water tube:

4FA014-010

This part # is from the 87-93 Mustang 5.0L Novi 1000 kit. Give Kelly at Paxton a call and see what he can do for you. 888-9-PAXTON

You'll have to cut and re-use part of your stock rubber radiator hose but it's no big deal.

You are the man!! That is exactly what I am looking for. I looked through a lot of pics and could not find one that showed what I was looking for. Thanks again.

I got that chrome tube from paxton. It would not work for me. I hope they give me a refund less shipping. It cost $48 + shipping. The tensioner was in the way. And I could not get it to route any other way. The hood was mashing the hose into the alternator pulley. NOT GOOD. I have posted a pic to show how I managed. The tubing I used is part of a swimming pool ladder. LOL. I don't have a tubing bender. Monday I am going to the local exhaust shop and get them to bend me a 90 degree elbow in a piece of tubing. Thanks again for your help stang crazy.

Glad I could help, I'm sorry the Paxton pipe didn't work for you. I completely forgot about the position of the stock tensioner.
