quest. about sc's

After I get all my body work done Im going to save up for something huge for my motor. It's between a h/c/i combo or a supercharger. Seeing how a supercharger appears to be much easier to install, that is probably what I am going with. How hard is it to install a paxton or a vortech??? I know you have to relocate the alt and everything but was wondering how difficult it is. I also know the Kenne Belle's are fairly simple but Im hoping to get an edlbrock intake. Thanks for any help, Im just curious as to what I would be getting into.

I have installed Vortech A-Trims in 8 hours and that includes the oil pan punch which makes people nervouse but that is a 3 minute deal and the bracket is easy and the alternator is nothing to squeeze into the bracket. My Dad is 65 and installed one in his car in 7 hours but I did install new headers and plugs while doing mine.

Ok so itll just take a sat. or sun. to install it. Thats good to know. My dad is the brains of the operation. He just supercharged my cousins 3.8 mustang. But he makes me do everything to the car myself while he stands there and drinks beer. haha.

If you have a complete kit its a one whole day deal. Not to bad. If you have any question with a vortech install feel free to PM me or email me.

You will thank your dad for that someday. The best way to learn is to do it yourself.;)
