Cant the stock auto tranny from a 94 mustang 3.8l handle the power of a 5.0l with a small charger on it.?

I picked up a 5.0 AOD from the local parts yard (marquis 86') for $150. AOD's are cheap. Supply for this item is much greater than demand so it drives down the price.

ok new questiong can i take teh tranny with the 5.0 out of them 93' and put it in the 94. IE convert it to a manualk?
