90 lx vs ?newer looking SS convertable

first day to get my car back and one race already (not quite a race). Anyway this guy in the SS comes by me and i slow down waiting for him to stay next to me, and of course he doesnt. i am behind him and we finally get a stretch where we can both get on it. I can hear he has exhaust. anyway he punches it and I do the same. i am at his bumper the whole way (actually had to hit brake once or twice to avoid hitting). we go up to about 115 with me the whole time right behind him b/c of traffic. anyway, we catch a light and would have been able to race side by side IF it didnt start to down pour like crazy. He said (at the light) he had exhaust and a bunch of other goodies! I would have thought he would have walked away from me being a SS and all! i think i would have pulled slightly on him! OHh well thats the end of my story- what do ya think?

Sounds like a good one, but did you run him on or off the spray? The holley kit pulls good to 6k, I would think you would do well if you can hook up.

it was run on motor only. i dont have the bottle in the car at this time. plus when he got on it we were going around 30mph, so hooking up wasnt a problem. so when do you thnk i can shift this car, around 6? i dont know what i was shifting at, i shift when it "feels" right!

Shift around 6000, any more and you will be hitting the factory rev limiter (fuel cutoff), unless you have chip or piggyback computer to change the factory setting.
