mass air conversion
 

My friend wants to know if he needs to switch over to mass air from speed density. He doesn't get a smooth idle.


'86 LX with 306, E303, Holley AFPR set at 40psi, EFI gasket matched intake, BBK equal length shorties, 2 1/2" offroad H-pipe, Warlock mufflers, C-4 with racing gears and 3000 stall, 4.33 ring and pinion

I'd get a MAF conversion, especialy since he has a different cam.
