OK to cut

When I did my front end I used Magna front 620's from Mustang Plus. I also used the thin polyurethane front spring insulators. It was still about an inch too high for what I wanted. I did cut 1/4 of a coil off to achieve the correct height for my purposes.

Use a cut off wheel to do that instead of a torch. It does increase the spring rate a little, but there's nothing wrong with cutting the spring a little bit. Do it only a little at a time and reassemble and recheck the height. It's some extra work, but you will have what you want if you do all that carefully.

I used 5 leaf rear springs with the mid-eye option to get the rear height where I wanted it. Look at my avatar or user ride pics to get an idea of what I ended up with and then figure out what you want.
