Air Pump noise
 

I think my air pump (or air pump related) on my 89 GT is making some whinning noise thats cutting out my engine noise
If you have had this problem or have some input please let me know

Mine made a really bad sound when it went out, like a whirling noise thought it was my tranny so I just bypassed it and everythings fine but I also have no cats, dont bypass it if you still have cats on your exhaust or you'll clog them up.

Spray wd-40 into the fins and into the small air hole on the back, preferably while it's turning. It will make a huge mess but it might save the airpump
