Putting in new quarter panels??

Hello all. Just got back from the Carlisle PA. all Ford Car Show. For those of you that have been there - You know what I am talking about. Anyway - I have 2 new FULL 1965 quarter panel replacements. Any advise on getting these things installed. My friend that is doing it is a body shop guru, but doesnt know Ford at all. Any tips or tricks to welding them in or getting the old ones off without messing up the whole car.

Spot weld cutter

I've never done that. I do know you need a spot weld cutter to remove those spot welds one at a time. Then after ecerything is lined up correctly, those spot welds need to be put back in one at a time. The seams were originally filled with lead from the factory. I think most just use "seam sealer" or Bondo to do it now. I'll bet your body shop guru is familiar with all that and can do it well. My thoughts.
