How to remove belt tensionner pulley (picture inside)

How to remove the bolt retaining the bearing of the belt tensionner pulley.

Ford are selling the whole thing and in fact just the bearing is defective. I know for removal of the belt i have to use a ratchet on this bolt and turn reverse clockwise. To remove it completetly do i use to use more strenght clockwise or reverse

To remove that bolt, you just need to put more strength on it. JIC, turn it towards the alternator (CCW) just as if your were removing the belt.

Turn that puppy CCW like you're taking the belt off. It'll move up to a point and then stop. After that point it won't take much. An impact gun will buzz that sucker right off of there.

On a side note, make sure you take the belt off first!
