Seeing red X's instead of photos in Media Center/Rides/Member Sites?

MOST people who can't see our gallery are Norton Users........ or, run a similar firewall / antivirus / security suite.

Here's the fix:

1) go to Norton Firewall Config main screen

2) double-click privacy control, you'll get the Norton Firewall Privacy Control Screen.

3) on that screen, click advanced

4) On the advanced screen, scroll down under web contents options until you get to www.mustangworks.com and click it once to select (repeat this and the following steps for media.mustangworks.com, forums.mustangworks.com, members.mustangworks.com, and mustangworks.com too). Or, you may be able to manually add either "mustangworks.com" or "*.mustangoworks.com" to your whitelist and that will cover all of our subdomains, as well. It may depend on what software you are running.

5) Under "Information about visited sites" uncheck default, and set it to "Permit"

6) click ok on that screen and the advanced screen.

If you have a different system other than Norton, then you might have to figure out how to configure it something like this on your own. Enjoy the media center.

The reason you have to do this is because the media center uses HTTP referrers so that people trying to view our media from non-mustangworks.com pages can't burn up our bandwidth and resources serving our media files to other sites. If the referring URL is blank or an outside domain then the request gets blocked, and the no remoate links allowed alternate image is served instead. The User's Rides and member sites have the same restrictions.
