engine light

Hey guys....new to this website and new to owning a mustang. Always wanted one just recently got a 92 LX Coupe. Anyways my question is the engine light keeps coming on and some one told me it's due to the fact I have after market h-pipes with no cats. So it triggers the 02 sensors, any ideas how to fix this or should I be worried about it?

Thanks

has nothing to do with the cats. get your car code tested, free at autozone. once you have a code, replace as nessescary. o2's could have gone bad during the swap.. remeber you can't touch the 02's element. if you did , there done.

Yes, I agree. Especially if you got anti-seize compound on them!!!

Better than having AZ pull the codes, or sometime afterwards, why not learn how to do it yourself? Literally, you can do it with a paperclip. If you want, I could try and post a "pin-out" on how to do this. Trust me, it's easy and you'll love your Mustang even more 'cuz you'll know how to take care of your baby. :D
