need advice on suspension setup
my front tires are wearing like mad since i installed an eibach pro kit. I know its due to excessive negative camber and toe-out. Now, what I want to know is what i should do about it, on the cheap. I just replaced a set of almost new tires and I'd like not to have to do it again.
I've heard a lot of people who have said after installing bump steer kits on lowered cars the camber went positive. Is it possible/likely installing the bumpsteer kit and urethane or even new rubber bushings would solve my problem, or should I get the c/c plates instead or also? |
Get the plates, and get it alligned professionally.. If not doing you any good running the car like that.

The problem is I've also heard the plates alone don't really solve the problem. I can only go 2 more degrees positive with the steeda plates and I've got to be 4 or 5 degrees negative

ok, the springs were designed for the unit correct.. I would get the shorter ball joints that steeda has, and possibly, lower A-arms. they are a bit shorter so they pull the wheel inwards and the plates adjust for the reposition.. they have kits ourthere for the entire setup.
