the fans ..the car itself is beautiful but i just dont like the fans for some reason
|
i dont like them either. makes it look cheap.

Niiice:D :D :D

Yeah I think it would look better just left alone. Cobra's are awesome, all years! 93 is the best! Maybe if the fans werent as visible and they still did what they are intended to do then Id say yeah!

Intresting replys.
They were used in Cobras that raced, as well as a oil cooler. Maybe if I take out one and leave the other, we'll all like it? |
:( if you got money to spend i think like a black slim electric fan would look nice ..or a pair of them
|
I think it looks sweet, just how the cobras were sopposed to look :)

To elaborate on my opinion and other statements: I think that the cool thing about it is the function>form viewpoint. For "Pure Asthetics" you would not want a pair of fans sticking out in the grill opening. The factory, if they even added them, would be hidden behind some kind of vent/grill/faring. The fans showing (IMHO) reflects back on the "screw what it looks like, is it fast?" mentality. To me the Cobras are more about function than looking "slick". after all its not some kind of luxury roadster, its a small car with a huge engine, designed to go 'hella fast. I think the fan setup is not only practical, but in keeping with that original purpose/root.
But thats just how I am, to each their own. Hell, I think the A-10 Warthog is a thing of beauty :p Sorry, \Rant, J |
