Carb Help
 
My car pulls hard till about 3 grand and then it quits. Would putting new jets in it help. Its just a holly 600 double pumper.

1990 Mustang LX,3:55s w/posi, Mac Headers,Hedderman H-pipe, 2 Chamber flows, E-cam,Edelbrock Peformer Intake, 600 Holy Carb,pullys,Smog Pump taken off,Alum Rad,Hotches Upper and Lower control arms. How that carb get in here on a 1990.

It could be a fuel problem, but it could also be an ignition problem. What you really should do first, before you tear into your carb, is put a clean set of plugs in it and drive the equivilant of a couple hard passes, and then pull them and read them. if your lean, that will tell you.

does it wind out if you arent at full throttle? what fuel pump?
mine would die at about 4500 rpm... ended up putting a better coil on and it fixed it..
