Cragar Rims

Hey everyone, I have a 4 16x8 cragar ss rims, I need some tires for them, do you think 245/50r/16 would be a good choice all around, or should i go with 225's in front and 245's in back? Its a 69 Mustang. Thanks!

Id keep them the same size front/back. they'll last longer rotating them.

But then again, im a cheapskate.

If you have power steering, then the same size all around.

If you don't have power, you might want smaller tires up front. It depends on how strong you are and how big of a steering wheel you have.

225 50 R16 is all I could clear on mine in the front. I have a stock type wheel, and it is not all that hard to turn at a dead stop. 245's though....not sure if I had them on the front...definately be a little more grunt to them. Just FYI.
