Spark plug gap on 331 stroker engine

What should the spark plug gap be on a 10:1 compression engine? I have a Crane Hi-6 ignition and coil too.

I'm thinking I should start at around .045.

They're currently gapped at .054 and I'm having a slight misfire at around 6100 rpms.

Sounds about right to me. You could slowly try gapping them down - maybe 0.050" first? More is better so it'd be nice to keep it big.

I'm actually running 0.045" with boost, with a Hi-6R and LX92 coil, but I'm only at 8.4:1 static...
