Are you getting a good seal w/ TB to intake? I'm running the 70 and the only prob I had was getting the cruise cable on w/o the butterfly getting pulled back at idle.

I think so but I'll check

I checked the TB for a good seal and it is good(Carb cleaner around the TB and EGR spacer) It stops if I crank the idle up to 1500rpm it quits so I think it is the throttle blade it's self. Any more Ideas?

I tried to find out 'bout the whistle. So far another fella said his whistles as well and that he thought it was the blade. He thought that you could file the plate a little or drill a small hole to get rid of it. He hasn't done either since if likes the sound w/ his KB. Sorry couldn't get a for sure answer.

Hey I appreciate the effort!!! I to think that the whistle is due to the blade having some sort of an edge on it but I am not ready to drill a hole in it 'cause it is just 5 days old!!! Maybe I'll grow some balls in a couple a weeks.

No problem. What all mods have you done on yours?

The engine looks good. ....The only thing that keeps me from going with a 351 is the expense of the intake manifold and the fact hat it wont fit under my freshly painted stock hood.
