my experience with WOT Racing

on the 22nd of last month i purchased a TKO tranny off of ebay from WOT Racing. it was auction number 7916611253. i paid 1025.00 for it. as you can see in the auction that they say that you can save big, shipping is usually $80 or more. well i use the shipping calculator and it shows me paying 48.49 for shipping. i paypal them the money as soon as i win the auction. i also purchased a yoke from them for $40. well i end up getting an email that the shipping was wrong and that they want me to pay them an additional $36.76. i wasn't willing to pay the full amount because i feel that this was something they should have looked into more before the auction. i agreed to pay 1/2 of that amount and she said fine. well time rolls on and i get my tranny with no stock shifter or yoke. i wrote her and she said that the shifter was a mistake but she was keeping the yoke because i didn't pay the full amount that she wanted for shipping. i went through paypal and finally she sent me a yoke but it was the wrong one. i sent it back and have yet to receive my right yoke. not only have i not received my yoke but the tranny is going to need some work. it evidently doesn't have 1200 miles on it like stated. i have all emails if anyone wants to read them. i'm not trying to slander them or anything, this is just my experience and only the facts.

You should have verified the shipping charges with them. Obviously $48 to ship a trans is way too cheap. You made the mistake of fuckingwith them when they had your parts. What did you expect?

what do you mean ******* with them. they were the ones who put right on there auction that you can save big now. i know i have sold many things on ebay and if i mess up with the shipping charges i eat it. you don't charge one thing and then later try and change it to get more. the 48 to ship it seemed about right anyways. it was only going from Kentucky to Ohio.

It has been my experience that when it sounds/looks "to good to be true" it is. I have never dealt with them or any ebay company. I try to stay away from them. I had rather spend a few more dollars and buy from someone reputable. Sorry to hear of your mishap.

thats what i'm beginning to realize. if its too good to be true then it is.

It doesnt matter whether the trans is going from Kentucky to Ohio, or Kentucky to California. Theres only going to be a few dollars difference, and $48 is not realistic.

Andy's right on the shipping. Shoulda been a red flag right there. And NEVER EVER bitch/fuss/complain/annoy someone that has your cheddar $$$$ AND your parts. Get the parts, THEN bitch. :D

Sorry about your luck, but thanks for giving us the heads up!

Shipping?

When I sell something online, I always include a nominal charge for packaging. You can't expect someone to box it up, insure it, and take it to the UPS pick up site for nothing can you? My $.02.

i wasn't complaining to them. i was just stating that it was there mess up and that i shouldn't have to pay the full amount. they list one thing with there auction and you think that you are going to pay that amount and then they change it on you. you don't do business that way is all that i'm getting to.
