Heater question

Heres the situation:I'm trying to get my heater back up and running before it starts snowing here, originally I just thought the temp control switch was broken, turns out that it IS broken, and the cause seems to be the control cable that it connects to. I tried just moving the cable to the "hot" position, but either the cable is kinked/jammed or otherwise bunged up or whatever it hooks to is jammed.
What does this cable hook to? Is there a best way to bypass and just open the "hot" vent?

Any helps appreciated,
Thanks,
J

Re: Heater question

The wire hooks to the heater box right about at the middle. Justpull the wire at the box tword the driver side to open up the hot.

Re: Heater question

It Opens Or Closes The Vent Door If It Don't Move Something May Be In The Heater Box= Like A Pens Or Something Seen It Before, the Object Falls Down The Defrost Vent Up Top And Gets Jammed ,you May Hear It If You Bang The Bottom Of The Box With Your Hand If Somthing Rattles Thats The Cause!
