high and sticking idle
 

i have a e 303 cam... victor jr heads.. full exhaust fuel upgrades air upgrades .. a chip and i am having a idle at like 1000 rpm and when i rev the car above 1,700 rpms it sticks for like 3 sec then comes back down.. also when im driving when i go to push the clutch in to switch gears the rpms jump up to like a higher rpm then what i was at when i shifted... what is this?

I have an E cam in my SD car and my idle is at about 1k Not really much you can do about it if your idle air controler is clean and functioning fine. About the rpms jumping i have no clue.

i think the 3 sec sticking is due to the throttle position sensor, adjust the volatge to .99V or get a new one. i think its common for RPM's to stick for a second or two, it does on mine, it sticks to 1000 for 1-2 seconds then drops to 750, but is this supposed to happen?

i was thinking the throttle position sensor too... yeah mine will stick at like 1700 though .. my old 5.0 stuck at like 1000 and then went to 750 that seems right but mine like surges... its def not right..
