Rough Idle then Stall

Hey all. I have a 2001 V6. A couple days ago the car wouldn't start, it would turn over, just wouldn't start. Then i came back about an hour later and it started just fine. It ran normal for the next couple days. Tonight I drive it around to a few stores and it seems to be running OK. I get in to start it and it starts but it idles REALLY rough like it's not really getting any gas... i push the gas and it doesn't respond at all. Any suggestions on what it may be??

Thanks

Hmmm...my best guess would be maybe a bad fuel pump or oxygen sensor.

my car did the same exact thing to me twice already. I have had it for the past 3 1/2 years. It seems like it did it in the winter though. I took it back to Ford when it was under warranty and they of course told me it was just fine. And now I am running into problems with it. The check engine light keeps coming on. I had the O2 sensor changed and then the catalytic converter sensor changed and now I need a new catalytic converter......hopefully that will be the end to my problems!!!
