ANYBODYS GT-40 INTAKE WHISTLE?
 
I was just wondering because my friends does and we don't have another to compare it to.Everybody else has cobra tricklow elderbrock or stock.Just wondering if it's right or not

What TB does he have? BBK/Edelbrock TB's whistle loud....kind of a cool sound.

My GT-40 doesn't. I have an Accufab 65mm TB. BBK TB's are notorious for that whistling sound that you are talking about.

Check and make sure all the intake bolts are bolted down correctly.. Mine did it, but after I tightened all of the bolts it went away..

Sounds to me like he's either got a leak in his upper intake gasket, or he's got a BBK TB (I've got it and it whisles like a mofo http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif).

I agree. BBK throttle body, or a vacuum leak. I personally hate the BBK whistle. People think you have a blower.
