screw in studs??

On a set of aluminum heads, what do you put on the threads of the rocker studs? loctite, anti seize, oil or what?

Locktite. Be sure to use a locker suitable for the size of the stud/threads. I only use a blue, not a red permanent locker.

I was working on a truck today at my shop, the owner of which also owns Canfield cyl heads. (hehehehehe) Soooooo, he recommended blue loctite as well. Pay attention to the torque on those puppies. A rocker arm with some good springs will yank a weak thread from overtightening.

They certainly will. I just repaired a set of victor race heads for a buddy of mine who did the same thing.

Count me in on the blue too. I use that stuff on everything (and would use it on RTV if I thought it would help :)

How is the red different? I recently put some on some harmonic balancer bolts because that's what I found lying around in my garage.
