brake pads?

If you upgrade to the SVO/Lincoln Mark VII 73mm calipers, what brake pads would get for them? If you were to get a set of pads from Hawk, what pads would you ask for? Mustange SVO, Lincoln Mark VII, Ford Mustang? Thanks in advance.

I would ask for pads for a Mark VIII, that seems specific enough for you to locate the correct pads.

You can use the same pads as for the stock 60mm calipers. Just bend the tabs out a little so they dont rattle. The actual pad retention is done by the caliper bracket, not the clips on the pads, and you don't have to change that bracket just to install the 73mm calipers.

I once did the simple conversion to 5-lug FRPP brakes. Still tiny little rotors and brakes, but got me the 5-lug I wanted:

If you wish to upgrade the stopping power, then 73mm calipers are a shortsighted and cheap suggestion.
If you relly want brakes, then get M2300K Cobra 13" front brakes. I ran these for years.
Then if you really, really serious about brakes, take the final plunge and spend the money on 2000 Cobra R Brembo calipers. That is my final brakes, I swear (for now...).

Hawk Pads are the pads to go. They work great on the track and street also.
