Fly Wheel Starter Issues
 
Since ford makes different fly wheels, are the transmission bell housings also different? If so, how can you tell if you have the correct bell housing? :confused:

Yes they do make different bellhousings. I'm not sure if the starters are interchangeable, though...

BTW... Auto or manual?

My mistake then... I know that they make different housings for autos, but not sure about manuals other than the bolt pattern which I believe went from a 5 bolt to a 6 bolt in the late 60s...
