where to find a smaller crank pulley

What car would have a smaller crank pulley for my 351w?
I'm having trouble keeping belts on th alternator.
Everything seem aligned properly now and I still keep tossing belts. I even use the "good" belts.(gatorbacks)

I was told to use a smaller diameter crank pulley to underdrive the alternator.
I just wanted to know what cars would have a smaller pulley.
Mine measures 8 inches.

Screw the smaller crank pulley what you need is a deep groove alternator pulley.

Its an off the shelf part at the auto parts store.

What auto parts stores? I've never seen anything like that, on the shelves, at any auto parts store.

We bought one for my brothers camaro last year from checker auto parts. If yours doesnt have them look in summit. Throwing the alternator belt is a common problem and a deep groove pulley is the answer.

I found a 5.5 inch crank pulley from summit which would underdrive my alternator and water pump giving me a little more HP also.
