What to do with a 351 c?

The car I bought has a 351c with a c6. I`m gonna run it on the dyno to see what it makes before I do anything. It has 2V heads with a Holley 4V carb and an Edel. intake. I havent seen any aft. heads for the 351c, Anyone have any ideas for bumping up the power a bit?

No need for aftermarket heads. Those heads are way big enuf.

The biggest problem in a C head is the dogleg exhaust port.

A good cam with matching intake and carb will make good numbers. But without some exhaust port grinding your limited on that side of the head.

One of our members was featured reacently on the home page. They were running a cleveland that was making hella power if I remember right. You might want to talk with them too.

351c is a very good engine. It makes power but at higher rpms because of big ports. The 351c doesn't need a special crank or 4 bolt block it will buzz right up there with the best. I put one in a 66gt 4 speed 391 gears 750cfm 4vheads stock intake and exhaust 519 lift 280 dur MSD 6AL was a lot of fun and hard to keep pointed the right way
